Welcome CT RSCs!

Thank you for visiting our site designed exclusively for CT Resident Services Coordinators (RSCs).

We want to keep you posted about the training initiative happening through April 2010.  Please check out the Communications link on your left to view recent communications on this topic.

This site is currently under construction so please visit us often to see what new content has been added.

Please check out the link to Presentation Materials from the programs that are being conducted to provide both new and experienced RSCs a firm foundation for their jobs.  Feel free to refer back to these at any time or to suggest these to others as a resource.  Please tell us about any other resources that you think would be helpful to post to this site for other RSCs to refer to.

Most importantly, this site is really about you, and the very important role you play as an RSC.  No matter what type of facility you work in, there is no doubt that you are a valuable resource both to your residents and to your management.  In fact, linking you to information and resources is what this site is all about.

Take a look at the Professional Associations link at the left.  You are sure to find networking opportunities that will support you, no matter how long you have been in this field.

This site and the contents thereof have been made available with a grant from the CT Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) and with the expertise of CT Association of Resident Services Coordinators in Housing (CARSCH).  With the same funding, the University of Connecticut Center on Aging designed and provided a series of training program modules on a broad range of topics relevant to RSCs.  The UConn Center on Aging also oversees the construction of this website including the addition of webcasts and updating of announcements and resource materials.  Through joint endeavors we are able to add value to our resident populations and find mutual benefit.
